The Coronavirus (COVID-19)has reminded everyone to keep our workplace clean and safe. We have listed four simple ways that can help us keep our workplace clean to reduce the spread of communicable diseases.
FOUR Ways To Keep Your Workplace Clean During Coronavirus Pandemic
1. Keep Your Work Space Clean
Create a routine to regularly clean all frequently touched surfaces in the and around your work spaces. Cleaning the phone, doorknobs, keyboards, computer mouse, desk, pens, chairs, counter tops, buttons, fobs and remote controls are examples of frequently touch surfaces.
2. Wash Your Hands With Soap And Warm Water
It may sound like such a small thing but keeping your hands clean is vital to preventing the spread of germs. When washing your hands with soap and warm water it is recommended (by the CDC) to best do so for at least 20 seconds.
Washing your hands after using the bathroom, after blowing your nose, after a sneeze or cough, touching a frequently touch surfaces or trash can prevent spreading germs.
Washing your hand before eating and when your hands have exposed to uncleanliness can prevent spreading germs.
Washing your hand before, during and after preparing food and caring for others can prevent spreading germs.

3. Keep Your Hand Out Of Your Face
Although “stop touch your face” is easier said than done, it must be done. Touching your eyes, mouth, or nose is a clear way to spread germs. To prevent the spread on germs we much avoid touching our face as much as possible.
4. Protect The Sneeze And Cough
To help prevent the spread of germs be mindful when sneezing or coughing. Avoid sneezing or coughing in the air and in your hands. Covering your mouth and nose with a tissue, napkin or using your upper inner sleeve is best.
